Financial Assitance
For those students who qualify, financial assistance is available in the form of the WIA, Veterans Administration Benefits, Pell Grant, and Social Security Benefits. The school offers an interest-free payment plan to all enrolled students regardless of their funding.
Starting Dates and Class Schedule
Cosmetology Concepts Institut'es, Cosmetology All classes begin on the 1st or 2nd Monday of January, March, May, July, September, and November. Manicuring Only class begins the 2nd Monday of May. Instructor Training class start dates are determined on an individual bases at the discretion of the Director of Education.

Part Time Attendance:
is offered for Instructor Trainees in accordance with the State Law minimum of 15 hours per week. Scheduling is arranged on an individual basis.

Holidays and School Closures
Cosmetology Concepts Institute classes are in session year round with the following exceptions: Spring Break (1 week in March), Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Summer Break (last week of July and the first week of August), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas/New Years (approximately 9 days). The school may also be closed when required for teacher's workshops, educational events, and/or State Convention.
Graduation Requirements
A diploma will be awarded upon graduation from all courses offered. Students must have completed the required number of hours of training at the school, met all Satisfactory Progress Policy requirements, and paid all monies and fees owed to Cosmetology Concepts Institute before they will receive a diploma. (see Satisfactory Progress Policy for specific requirements.)
Employment Assistance
This school does not guarantee employment. The staff and faculty does, however, make every effort to assist graduates of the school in securing employment in the field. The assistance is provided in the form of a unit of instruction relating to job search as well as assistance to the individual student in coordinating job interviews in a response to requests from salon and business owners in the surrounding area.
Licensing Requirements
Upon graduation, students may register for the next regularly scheduled Missouri State Board licensing exam. Registration is effected by making application and paying a Registration Fee ($120.00) through the school office on the day of graduation or within ten business days. At this time, a Contractual Fees Agreement is filed. This agreement verifies if the student owes the school any monies or not. If the student has outstanding debt, the state will not schedule the student for examination, as stated in the Enrollment Agreement.
