Enrollment Information

Admission Requirements

Cosmetology Concepts Institute will accept for enrollment as a regular student any person who meets the following requirements:

has been interviewed at least 3 weeks prior to the class starting date is at least 17 years of age (birth certificate required) provided a certificate of graduation (diploma) from a school providing a secondary education (high school) or the recognized equivalent (GED) has submitted for review a copy of their high school transcripts and demonstrated the ability to achieve success in meeting the program requirements, as determined by a review of the transcripts (emphasis on English and Math) has made application to the Missouri State Board of Cosmetology through the school at least two weeks prior to the intended class start date submitted a $25.00 money order payable to the Department of Registration/Cosmetology has signed a current Enrollment Agreement and paid the $100.00 enrollment fee Submitted two passport-sized photographs

Enrollment Procedure

Prospective students may request a brochure sent to them and set up an appointment to tour the school and have a personal interview, or they may stop by the Enrollment Office at 1611 Burlington Street to make these arrangements no later than 3 weeks in advance to starting the program. During the personal interview, the student and parent/guardian will receive a copy of the school's catalog, and enrollment personnel will be avialable to answer questions regarding tuition, training, and state licensing requirements. At this time, all pertinent papers concerning pre-enrollment information related to the cosmetolgoy profession, current completion, placement, licensure rates and general enrollment and tuition will be made available to the concerned parties

Enrollment Office Hours

Appointments are encouraged, but not always necessary. Enrollment procedures must be completed no later than two weeks prior to the anticipated started date of training.
